Teacher and Para Educator of the Year Nominations

Any staff member of the Helena School District can nominate a person for these honors. In order to nominate a person, please send an email to either Aaron Sieminski (asieminski@helenaschools.org) or Sarah Vulk-Kelly (svulkkelly@helenaschools.org) by 4 P.M. on March 22nd, 2019.

Are you looking for great professional development? Have you thought about National Board Certification?  Maybe you don't know anything about it!

We are holding an in-person and virtual session to help you understand the process, the time and money commitments, the candidate support, and the benefits of certification.  Please join us Monday, May 7, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the MEA-MFT office, 1232 East Sixth Street, Helena (downstairs conference room) OR from you own computer via
GoToMeeting.  We will share the information and have a question and answer session.  If you join either virtually or in person, you will be able to see the PowerPoint presentation, the presenters, and the other attendees.  The information for the virtual GoToMeeting is below.

This session will qualify for OPI renewal credits awarded from MEA-MFT.

Attached is a flyer that went out to voters with information on the levies. It is extremely important to vote on this issue because salaries are tied directly to the passage of the levies. If you didn't receive a ballot, please go to the county election office to cast your vote. Ballots are due by May 8th!

Mail-in ballots should have arrived at your home address for both the elementary and high school operational levies. It is extremely important to return your ballot by May 8th. You can drop your ballots in the mail or at May Butler to ensure your vote counts. Please contact Trish Klock if you have any questions!
