Help Kill The Bill

Sarah Piper at MFPE has made a last minute ask for anyone to testify on HB234. Information is below. If you know any parents that would be willing to testify, please pass this along!

“Please vote no on HB234, no amendment. Respect teachers, don’t let national politics become a wedge between parents and schools. This wastes tax dollars on something that isn’t real, instead of solving teacher shortage, mental health crisis for students, safety in our schools. Every district handles material challenges at the local level – which is appropriate, because we support local control.”
