The 2019-2020 School Year is Here!

Looking forward to a great beginning of school. So much activity has been happening in each and every school and it’s exciting to see. If I can help you in any way as you begin your year, please don’t hesitate to call, text, or email me!

A quick note on the Board of Directors meeting held August 20, 2019. The Board approved some normal beginning of the year expenditures: Para Educator breakfast; New Teacher lunch; and Back to School BBQ among others. We have hired 47 new educators and 26 new paraeducators to date, with still a few vacancies to fill. A discussion took place about the retirement incentive and the request was made to post the details:

Eligibility: Timeline:

1) Seniority 9/11, TRS meeting, 4:30-6:00 HMS

2) Highest salary, base + stipend(s) 9/12, Meeting with employees at Bryant 3) TRS Years of Eligibility Elementary School Library

4) Date/Time of application received 9/30, application form due by end of business (5:00 pm)

10/4, district will notify employees of acceptance

10/11, employee must either revoke application or resign in writing effective June 10, 2020

Dates have been posted on the website calendar for everything from Bonus Paydate, deadlines for PCAP components, HEF events, meeting dates, and Angel Fund fundraisers.
